Labor day camping trip near Buena Vista.

On the west side of Cottonwood Pass there is some national forest land that has some amazing dispersed camping. On Friday we took the first available gap in the trees that would fit the truck and tent. In the morning when we were a little more rested we ventured further into the network of dirt roads in search of a better site. Eventually we happened upon a fantastic site that was set back from the road with a great view of Fitzpatrick Peak(13112 ft) and Napoleon Mountain(12,549 ft).
